The neighbors are finally moved! I hate to sound like a biatch, but they were the worst people on the planet. I have never heard such foul, disgusting language out of any kids mouth. Heres a little glimpse into the neighbors from hell.
Since I couldn't sleep last night, I was hanging out in the computer room with the lights out. It was 11:30 and my kids were long asleep. Next thing I hear Ali (demon spawn, he's 12) say that he needs to go to the bathroom, at which point he proceeds to pee on my house. CLASSY! I kept quiet, just repeating to myself "they leave tomorrow, they leave tomorrow...". Next thing I hear him and his friend say something about, "Just do it, by the time she gets outside, we'll be long gone." GREAT. Ali started to walk across my lawn, I stood up and looked out the window. I think I scared the crap outta him, because he took off and ran back home.
Well, this afternoon, I got my farewell suprise from the demon. I noticed that there was something different out by the shed in the backyard. Our backyard shares a fence with theirs. I went out to find 2 stuffed animals, 2 t shirts, a roll of paper towels, a handbag and a mountain dew can with a towel shoved inside of it...ALL LIT ON FIRE! He was even nice enough to leave the lighter fluid he used.
The police came out and I filed a report. I doubt that anything will be done about it. I can guarantee we will all see Ali again...he will be on America's most wanted, probably after him and his friends join a terrorist sect in NJ. BasTURD! I know you must be asking, where are his parents. They don't give a crap. They think he is a saint. Too bad his new BB gun, that he left on my lawn, was accidentally thrown in my trash can.

Wii Fit

Carter and I managed to snag a wii fit today after school. We are all set up with our mii's and ready to start. It started by checking our balance and BMI's. Oh joy! Then we did some balance games. Of course I was clobbered by the boys. Carter is a natural at dodging soccer cleats and giant pandas.
It may not help the weight situation, but at least it's fun.

Random Country Music Updates

Heres the overview...
1. Not suprisingly, since I decided not to attend the CMA Music Fest this summer, the lineup has gotten much better. What a bummer to find out that Keith Urban will the suprise guest on June 6th. My hope is that he stays for 3 songs and hits the road. I know thats mean, but i'm jealous!
2. Keith Urbans new single(new? it's a remake from 2002's Golden Road Album)You Look Good in my Shirt, will be released to radio on June 2nd. Shirt is one of my fav KU songs. It should translate well to radio. Maybe he can manage to pull a #1 with this release, we all know it's been a long dry spell since the painful album came out. The picture above is one of my favorites! It's from the KU show in Vancouver 2005, while singing Shirt!
3. Chris Cagle is arrested for domestic battery. OMG! That man has more run in's with the law than any other star I know. The best part, his girlfriend beat him with an umbrella (ella ella) and he hit her with a purse. I guess he did it "Cause the chicks dig it". ROFL
4. Jessica Simpson's new single has been leaked online. Shockingly, it doesn't suck. Maybe she can pull off a career comeback as a country singer.
5. Sugarland's new album will hit stores on July 22nd.
6. Can You Duet continues this week. Poor Nathan and Chris were eliminated this week. My dad and I were saying how much better AI was this year because they were allowed to play instuments. In an interesting twist, Nathan and Chris were eliminated because they didn't play insruments. We'll see who heads home this week. My guess, the Coppola twins. Naomi Judd hates those girls. GO WILL AND CAITLIN!
7. Charts for this week...
Billboard #1 Im still a Guy, by Brad Paisley
CMT Top 20 Countdown #1 Your Gonna Miss This, by Trace Adkins
GAC Top 20 Countdown #1 Your Gonna Miss This, by Trace Adkins
8. I've added a date to see Lady Antebellum to my calendar. I don't know their music very well, but Julie asked me to go, so we made a date. It's at the new Odgen Ampitheatre, which i'v enever been too. It should be a good time.
Thats all for now!
You check out KU's new single here...

Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend is over and gone, thank goodness. We didn't do anything fun as a family. I worked Sat, Sun and Monday afternoons. It was a hellish weekend at work, and as usual we were not staffed. SHOCKER!
The twins and Randy managed to go golfing on Monday with Grandpa Marv. They said they had a great time and especially loved driving the golf carts. Poor Grandpa doesn't know what he's gotten himself into...they will always want to go with him now. AFterwards we met for lunch at IV (Italian Village). They have the best pizza benders. You should check them out if you are around the area.
Otherwise, nothing else exciting happened. Basically i'm just counting days to Cancun. BTW, 9 days.

Hurry up! We need to go talk about zits and stuff.
That was the last thing I heard as Randy, Miles and Taylor headed out the door to the 5th grade maturation program. Needless to say, I can't beleive my babies are old enough to attend this rite of passage.
When they arrived back at home, I asked how things went. The boys showed me their new deodorant and complained about the neighbor that insisted on keeping their screaming baby in the room. This is where I go off on a tangent about idiot neighbors and the fact the they should not be bring babies to such an event. DILL WEED!
Basically, they learned nothing, other than the fact that they hate screaming babies.

DAVID COOK WINS!!!!!!!!

OMG! I can't beleive it. David Cook is the new American Idol. We totally out voted Archie by 12 million. AMAZING! I was hoping that being unable to get through on the phone lines was a good thing, guess I was right. YEAH!
Overall the show was good. I'll do my usual, the good and the bad.
The Good
...David Cook won
...David Cook with ZZ Top
...Hairy Underwear's performance
...The apology from Simon, which was a dead give away to me that DC had won and Simon was saving face.
The Bad
...The group songs...i always dislike the group songs
...George Michael...what the heck happened to him. He should have broken out Wake me up before you Go Go!
...That group that sang with Archie. I never heard of them, and probably since I still don't know who they are, it doesn't matter.
...Hairy Underwears outfit. WTH? What exactly was she wearing?????
...How boring is Jordan Sparks???? And her dress was terrible.
I managed to download the songs I need of DC's off I tunes yesterday. Now we have to wait for the album.
So now we are safe until January when it all starts again. Randy says now he can't wait to go see the Runner Up Tour featuring Gay Aiken and Fetus Archuleta. ROFL!

Wind Storm
We had a terrible wind storm last night. Evidentally it was bad enough to kill one of the tree's out front. At about 9:45 the doorbell rang. It was one of the neighbors askng if we knew that half our tree was in the road. No,I had no idea! Randy and I were able to move it to the lawn, man was it heavy. Now I have to figure out what to do with it.

American Idol Finale

So which David will win AI? Fetus Archuleta, of course. He is the chosen one. They crowned him the winner weeks ago.
My poor David Cook. He was aussome tonight, but he won't win. I think he knows it as well. I guess it could be good to be 2nd. You wouldn't be married to AI and Simon Fuller for your entire career. You could have more freedom to make the music you want to make. You wouldn't have to record either of those heinous songwriting competition songs. PUKE!
The finale was good, but the boxing theme was LAME! Simon claims that Archie knocked out Cook. I must and will disgaree. I loved DC's version of "I still haven't found what i'm looking for", by U2. (BTW, the only song ever released by U2 for the show.) I'm over Archie and his ballads. Plus why didn't he sing a new song? I think it's a cop out to sing a song we've already heard before. Like DC said, the competition is about progressing, not looking back.
So I offer my congratulations (although I hope i'm wrong) to Fetus Archuleta. You are the next Gay Aiken! You go boy!

Flight of the Conchords
I must intro everyone to fotc. They, Brett and Jermaine, are the fourth most popular folk parody duo from New Zealand. Randy and I found them on HBO a few years ago while channel surfing. If can find their HBO Special, One Night Stand with Flight of the Conchords, I would highly recommend it. I can burn you a copy if you like.
FotC currently have a show on HBO as well. The new season should be starting soon. Here are a couple vids to show their enormous talents...

Thanks George W. Bush

I wanted give a shout out to El Presidente for the stimulus package check that was received in the account the other day. Thanks to some misfortune I was able to use it to buy new tires for the Burb. Maybe you could send another before summer is over. I have a trip to Cancun planned. Thanks again GW.

ACM Recap
Overall it was a good show. I didn't do too bad, 9 outta 12 right. I guess this is where I apologize to Miranda Lambert, Jack Igram and Brooks & Dunn. SORRY!
The performances were good, some better than others. Lets start with the good....
Carrie Underwood... I don't love Carrie, but "Last Name" is a fun song and she is a great singer. The best part of country barbie is that the boys call her Hairy Underwear.
Miranda Lambert. Kick ass as usual. I love her spunk. She was shocked to win album, I don't understand why, it's great!
Brad Paisley....GREAT as usual, of course he's still just a guy.
Garth Brooks...well, he is Garth Brooks. Nuff said?
Now for the not so good...
Cheesney about put me to sleep. I'm over him and his squinty eyes.
King George...In my opinion the most over rated country musician on the planet. And he's boring to boot!
Toby Keith...Can't stand him, won't listen to him. Thats what tivo is for.
Kelly Picker...Drop the dumb blonde act and maybe i'll listen.
Everyone else was okay. I didn't love Sugarlands song or Swifty's for that matter.
Now for the most anticipated review of the night.
KEITH URBAN
The good....
His performace was the best of the night! I didn't love the crowd thing or Sarah Buxton singing back up. She looked like a groupie with a microphone. It was great to see C-Rod and Jerry. Any performance is better with some Flowers thrown in.
The bad...
The hair...OMG why does he continue to disappoint me! Grow it out! No more shag cut for you!
The beige suit...Just when I thought he couldn't look more gay....he does
The botox bride...Why does she insist on holding her hands below her belly? To make sure we all understand and remember that the ROYAL BIRTH is impending.
Overall the show was good, but it's far too long. 3 stinkin hours for 12 awards. Give me a break!

Who are those guys?
Thats a questions I've been asked alot since I uploaded my slideshow. Allow me to introduce you to the most under rated duo in country music...BLUE COUNTY! The group consists of Aaron Benward and Scott Reeves. You can check them out here
http://www.myspace.com/bluecounty
They are great family loving guys. They are awesome performers and treat their fans better than any else in country music. Although they are currently without a record label, they will find a soft place to land. It's only a matter of time before everyone falls in love with BC! If they come to your town, be sure to go see them!
I must apologize for the crappy video clip, but at least it gives you an idea of the guys performing live. They are singing "Good Little Girls" live from CMA Music Festival 2005. BTW, I am not the one singing!
