We have struggled this year at school to get him to understand the importance of doing his work and actually turning it in. After a meeting with his counselor we were able to move him to a different algebra class. I think that is what has made the difference. Thank goodness that Mr. Spears listened to me, although I had to push quite a bit. Also his science teacher, Mr. Bliss took a special interest in Carter and made sure that he knew that he could do better and after 1st quarter moved him back to ALPS science. If it wasn't for those two I don't know how we would have survived this year. I'm hoping that we have figured this out and now Carter can excel in 9th grade.
Yes, his hair is blue, he looks homeless and he can't stand having his picture taken with mom.
