We have struggled this year at school to get him to understand the importance of doing his work and actually turning it in. After a meeting with his counselor we were able to move him to a different algebra class. I think that is what has made the difference. Thank goodness that Mr. Spears listened to me, although I had to push quite a bit. Also his science teacher, Mr. Bliss took a special interest in Carter and made sure that he knew that he could do better and after 1st quarter moved him back to ALPS science. If it wasn't for those two I don't know how we would have survived this year. I'm hoping that we have figured this out and now Carter can excel in 9th grade.
Yes, his hair is blue, he looks homeless and he can't stand having his picture taken with mom.

i dont even know exactly what algebra is and they let me graduate and they pay me at my job. Spears and Bliss sound like a magic duo that play clubs. (this fotc song is hysterical! "lets get out of the cab, i'll buy you a kebab..") well done carter. you rock - it's obvious. (and your mum does too)
he looks so thrilled- in both getting the award and having his pic taken with you! lol. I can't wait to have teenagers..... :)
The first pic looks like a lineup. The pic with mom looks like you have cooties and he is doing his best to just be near you! Aren't boys a blast..Congrats on the awards!
