I totally ditched the twins to day. They were on my last nerve! I warned them not to call me unless they were on fire or missing a limb. I wasn't kidding either.
I met the mafia for lunch and a movie at the Gateway. I rarely go downtown so it's always an adventure. Anyone that knows me can tell you that I get lost no matter where I go. I managed to remember where the entrance for the parking garage was and didn't have to circle the block twice.
We had lunch at Jason's Deli and then went to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic". Isla Fisher is adorable! I was meant to be and Aussie, I love all of them (well, not really all of them.) Although I really can't relate to a shopaholic, I can relate to a girl in debt and falling for a cute boy. It was a total chick flick and we all loved it.
Afterwards we headed to Bath and Body works. We all stocked up on our soaps and lotions. I decided to try Wild Honeysuckle. It smells divine.
Then it was back to reality.

On behalf of the people of Australia I wish to extend to you honorary citizenship of our wide brown land. You will wear thongs (on your feet), drink beer (from a can), and bbq (seafood.) You will understand it is possible to like both Koilie AND AccaDacca. You will never call a koala a bear. You will naturally reject Nicole Kidman's claim to fame because you know She Cannot Act.

YES! I'd like to thank the academy...oh wrong speech. I'm truly honored to be one of yours. I promise to always love Steve Irwin and Koala's, and would perhaps try to occasionally choke down some seafood. I will greet everyone with G'Day as well as try my best to only use lines from Crocdile Dundee. I will throw away every pair of shoes I have and only wear thongs.
Thanks again for the honor. Now I'm off to find out what Koilie AND AccaDacca are?
