It's been a very, very, very long 2 weeks, well 13 days to be exact. A couple weeks ago I started with a terrible headache once night before bed. I was tired so decided to sleep it off. Strangely I woke up with the same damn headache the next morning. I figured it would go away on it's own. I tried Tylenol and Motrin, Ice packs and dark rooms. I managed to deal with the bugger for a week before I couldn't take it anymore.

I made the trek to see Dr. Parkin. He is sure it was a migraine, my first, but we were both concerned that it was lasting for so long. He gave me some Imitrex to try. BAD IDEA! My head hurt even more after that! The next day I brought Nut along to drive me home after my Demerol shot. That helped for about 15 hours... then I woke up. I made it through the weekend with another medicine that he gave me to try.

I called Dr. Parkin back Monday to tell him that the headache was not gone. He scheduled me for an MRI today. I'm sure everything will be fine, and it was all just a bad ass migraine. The MRI was not fun and hopefully I will never have to have one again in this lifetime. I was stuck inside a tube for 30-35 minutes. I remember all the loud sounds and the pain in my hands from clenching the panic button the entire time! They said it will take a day or 2 to get the results.

Overall, I feel much better. My head only hurts a little and after the last 2 weeks, if this is as good as it ever gets, I can totally handle it. Nut was trooper, he took such wonderful care of me and boys. Shockingly, the boys were good as well! Maybe I should be sick more often?!?!
